I consider myself an interior designer with a lifetime of experience.
I grew up in Wyoming with artistic parents always finding beauty in nature. My father was a geologist fascinated with rock formations and compositions. When he was out in the field, he would also search for found objects that he could use for sculptures and collages. He used to chuckle as he considered himself a frustrated artist. Most of our summer vacations were spent by the Snake River at the base of the Tetons where we would explore the fields and ponds, and he would paint the Tetons.
This experience gave me an innate appreciation for the subtle layering of colors, textures and the details found in nature that become inherent in my Interior landscape designs. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Interior Design from Montana State University. I moved to Seattle after college and quickly found the practical side of design which incorporates personalities, lifestyle, architecture, and budget. All these components factor into a one-of-a-kind design puzzle that I am always excited to solve.
